The need to minister internationally in English became clear as we worked in diplomatic circles in Brussels, Luxembourg City, Paris and Prague. From the building to the fall of the Berlin Wall, experiencing the unique benefits and difficulties of international communities in work, recreation, school and worship imprinted on our hearts the great potential for touching future generations of world leaders. We witnessed the disintegration of families that were simultaneously experiencing professional and financial success in our competitive world. All of these issues motivated us to supply needed encouragement and stability.
The essence of this international ministry is to provide truth and a spiritual home to the many cultures with which we are in contact by serving as a bridge between the diversified outsiders and locals in whatever nation He’d send us... “As you are going, be making disciples.”
The ICC churches in France -- ICCP-Aix-en-Provence, ICCL-Lyon and ICCM-Marseille -- along with prospective churches in Toulon, Toulouse and Bordeaux will provide the hub of a growing Eurasian network, bridging additionally through partnering churches in the Czech Republic, Germany and Hungary. Sanary, in the Marseille region, will serve as the ICC headquarters to edify, equip, and encourage international leaders, as well as to offer refreshment and new ideas. We ask you to prayerfully consider how you can be a part of this adventure to meet the needs of the international community.
